Apollyon - Grammar Fascist

Zim is good, but Vasquez's comics are much funnier. This would be because he doesn't have to make them child-friendly. For example, from JtHM (slightly edited by me)...

Guy: Couldn't help noticing you live at house #777. Kinda like the number of Heaven.

Johnny: Des this look like Heaven?

Guy: Uh, yeah. Say, would you mind taking part in a survey? Question 1: How do you feel about the recent spate of murders in our town?

Johnny: Well, I feel the victims are partly to blame. The murderer is made that way by society, and we all have to accept responsibility for the creation of a killer.

Guy: Hm, that's a good point. OK, quesion 2: Do you feel that movies and TV contribute to people's violent tendencies?

Johnny: I've got news for you, pal - TV is entertainment, nothing more. If you can't figure that out, you probably shouldn't be watching!

Guy: Wow, these are great answers. I'm sorry I was so scared of you earlier. I just have one more quaestion, but it's kind of a weird one...

Johnny: Ask away.

Guy: Well...the other day, a young woman was found dead, her body drained of blood. We think the killer had a vampire fetish, How do you react?

Johnny: I DIDN'T DRINK HER BLOOD! But I did need it! The blood changes colour when it dries. I have to keep the wall WET! *Gestures at a blood-covered wall.*
