This is the name of a village in west Wales, near Carmarthen/Caerfyrddin - Llanymddyfri/Llandovery. I think it probably represents an Anglicised form of the place name "Bwlch". In so doing I think it sounds like someone vomiting when they say it - BEULAH!!!
