If a certian religion claims to be the ultimate truth then wont it be philisophically more advanced and work better, therefore any religion that must destroy othor religions must not be right and they know it because they are attempting to eliminate any more advanced ways of thought than their own. if there is a way of thought that has the absolute truth it wont need to eliminate othor ways of thought because eventually people will see how well the correct one works and will gravitate twoard it

Excellently put! Religion does, by definition, counteract 'truth': it is reliant on faith, which is a belief in something that can't be proven. Therefore the whole concept of a 'religious truth' cannot actually exist. Indeed, truth itself cannot exist as an actuality, because it is undefinable and therefore its own paradox. Truth is subsequently an emotional expression, whereas fact is an actuality.

The big problem is educating the populous as to the difference between 'truth' and 'fact'.
