I've been to Cambridge once... about 2 years ago. I absolutely adore the place and think it's one of England's best cities. While there, I went punting. I was approaching the Mathematical Bridge and decided I was going to take a picture of it while sticking the pole in the river bed. This was a bad idea- I lost my balance, the camera fell into the water, I tried to grab it and fell in as well. However, I can honsetly say that the punting was one of the best parts of the Cambridge experience.

Well, I've lived here on and off about five years now, and never managed to go punting, though I've seen the punts glide by as I sit in beer gardens in teh summer
