A Conversation for Community Theatre
Help - scripts

I have just been asked to teach acting and direct an amateaur performance, and I need help with one act plays or short scripts.
The problem I have is that the group are all elderly with some disability.
I have done this job in youth theatre and there is lots of suitable material, easily found. But I am grinding to a halt with this one.
If anyone out there can help with suggestions I would be really grateful.
The group is small six to ten people, mixed male and female, all aged over 60, and all Irish. They would like an Irish setting if possible, or one that could be transposed into an Irish setting. For teaching purposes I feel it also needs to be funny and very accessible, since none in the group have theatre experience.
A worthwhile project - I would like to make it possible - HELP.
