I have a little book from 2003, "100 Greatest Albums", put together by VH1 based on 700+ ballots sent to musicians, songwriters, radio programmers, critics, etc. "What's Going On" comes in at 4th, behind Revolver/Beatles, Nevermind/Nirvana, and Pet Sounds/Beach Boys, and just ahead of Are You Experienced/Jimi Hendrix. Not bad.
