I once saw a BSoD on a large screen advertising board outside HMV on Cardiff high street. On closer inspection there as a bank of them inside the shop too 
That's the most impressive one I've seen personally.

There's this huge lighted screen at a sofa shop next to the freeway here that is incredibly distracting to drivers, especially at night. All it plays are ads, too--it's not like you can catch the evening news on it or anything.
Anyways, it crashed and displayed the blue screen for about a month before someone finally called a tech support person to fix the computer that runs the ads.
Very, very satisfying.
