The author states that you could in theory have a bread sandwich. In Kenya a toasted toast sandwich appears on many menus. As the name suggests this is a slice of toast between two slices of bread. The construction is then toasted before presenting to the delighted diner. My first TTS was ordered out of curiousity, but it then became a regular order throughout my trip.
