If you are entering Coventry for the first time and need to drive round the ring road in the city centre here are some tips.
1) Reach a speed of exactly 40mph on the slip road do not under any circumstances apply the brake.
2) Depending on the relative position of the car adjacent to you accelerate or brake slightly to slip into the space in front or behind them.
3) Do not exceed 40 mph once on the ring road and leave sufficient space for another car to fit between you and the car in front.
4) Repeat as often as necessary and you will soon not be distinguishable from the locals.
