Don´t ask how curiosity forces people to visit exactly that etablissement McD in Bombay. But somehow research has to be done and they do have to sell something at McD Mumbay, don´t they? Go there and find the ultimate answer: lambburger!

yes this is true..
All outlets of McDonald's everywhere in India carry the sign "No Beef or Pork Products Sold Here". A bit bold for a hamburger joint!!
Incidentally, the hamburger's found in India are something quite different than those found elsewhere in this planet.
Here a hamburger simply means that particular contraption of some sort of cutlet stuffed into a sliced bun, with some salad thrown in (often optional, and sometimes at extra charge.). People simply dont associate it with meat of any sort, despite the name.
You have to specifically ask for a mutton (lamb) burger, or fish, or chicken, or even vegetarian!!! yes, we have many types of veg burgers, and these are by far the most popular.
is not a very good idea in this country.
