A Conversation for Rugby League

"One of the rules that separated the two bodies was that there used to be a life-time ban for playing in the League if you were Union registered, even if you played as an amateur."

I read that as "you were not allowed to play in the League if you were ever Union registered". This may be true, but I thought the situation was: "you would receive a lifetime ban from the Union if you had ever played in the League."

I think it could do with re-phrasing if you mean the latter. And if you mean the former, you might like to mention the Union ban as well.

if you was registered with league you couldn't play union if you got caught playing another code you faced a ban from your registered code

now to play at a armature level you need to register but you can play both codes
