maybe only Canadians use it, but SWEET! means really cool, or great, and when something is WEAK, it really sucks. I actually think we got this from the yanks.
(Yes we do have electricity in the igloos that you all seem to think we live in)

Sweet and weak have been around for a while, but didn't go into common usage until Eric Cartman began using it frequently on South Park. So I would say you probably did get this one from us.

One I've heard from other teens is "douche" or "douchebag"--meaning someone dense and without social graces. I live in California but my Ohian friend also uses it, so I assume it's pretty much nation-wide.

Oh, that's pronounced "doosh" by the way, for those of you who don't instinctively pronounce French-looking words like the French pronunciation.

Actually, it refers to an old practice in the states of having a sort of insurance on your home mortgage so that if you die, the loan will be automatically paid off. So, if you die, you will have "bought the farm".

The film "Napoleon Dynamite" also uses the term "Flippin' Sweet". Napoleon is an idiot, and the term is starting to become something you say that you know is stupid. - A humerous thing now.

I have heard this in Illinois for all my life. My thoughts on it were that ministers carry around the sins of their congregation. Thus getting heavier with each sin committed. I have seen some heavy ministers.
