but I can't believe I get to be the first posting on this potent subject.
I live in a city of about 1/2 million people-we have front yards-I guess you guys call them "gardens"-but we mainly only grow grass in them-most of our dog excrement ends up there...

Here in NZ, most of it ends up in other peoples' yards, and in public parts... smiley - grr

We do get a fair bit on the streets - not much in London I've noticed. I live opposite a shop, which has a large grassy area in front of some houses. It's a magnet for owners to get the paper and/or milk and let the dog have a crap at the same time. smiley - grr The council have apparently warned people before, and they are paying it some attention again now as a few people have complained.

My waste bin in the garden doesn't seem to be working very effectively - I blame my big dog for going too much! So I've been putting it down the sewer where the loo flushes go instead.

Yes, indeed! It's dashed annoying when someone jogs past with their mutt and encourages it to relieve itself in the childrens' playground, and then leaves the refuse there! smiley - grrsmiley - grr
