A very interesting entry.

If they’re that rare I now understand why my brother sent me a picture of one, and why he felt it was important. His letters don’t always contain that much information
A very interesting entry.

You'll be able to impress him with all sorts of information now What sort of picture was it?
I'm glad the entry got its own pic
A very interesting entry.

The pic was rather dark and smudgy. Apparently he's got some better ones that he'll bring home with him.
I'd asked for a picture of a Kea for Master B to remind him of his encounter with one at a Wildlife park. Little bro sent rather a good picture of one perched on a bench back to me.
A very interesting entry.

Did your brother take the kakapo photos himself He's a very lucky man then, not many people get to see them in real life.
MB's story of the kea encounter still cracks me up

They're his own pics. I'm not sure where he took them but he's been all over the two islands since he's been out there,as well as staying in some rather out of the way places. I'll have to quiz him when he gets back - he doesn't answer questions via email/letter very often.
B and his encounter with the 'cute' Kea certainly still makes me . I suppose it's better than being savaged by a duck though.
A very interesting entry.
