Great entry - and I'm not a royalist!

As it happens I met her today at an official function with carers in Uxbridge. She was very well informed and was very approachable. She sat in on four separate workshops listening to carers needs and watched a group of young carers perform a short dance/drama session.

One tidbit, perhaps among others, would be titles and honorary titles. For instance, since 1977, she has been the Colonel in Chief of the Canadian Forces Communications and Electronics Branch. (Coincidentally, the same year I became a part of that branch)

I didn't, Sho, mainly because I didn't see she was on it until after I'd met her. But otherwise it would have made a great talking point.

She opened my school's music block back in... ooh, 1999, something like that? I can't remember speaking to her directly, but I remember performing something to her. She left by helicopter!

It was very exciting at the time.

And back then I forgot to mention that, among other things, she is Colonel in Chief of the Royal Corps of Signals

I met her again a few weeks back. She told us some personal info as I was part of a group promoting good parenting. She said her aunt had a baby while still a teenager. I guess she was referring to the Greek part of the family.

What's more weird is that I knew exactly which thread it was as soon as I read the title. Why can't I remember useful things instead!
