Is a huge used read-only data (CD, DVD, casette, LP, VHS, Betamax, AND Laserdisc) shop with several branches in California, and their stuff is often 1/3 list.
It's a puzzle they don't re-sell game cartridges.

I've heard many stories about Amoeba - some from people who've been there, some from the trade press like Billboard - like the way they were buying up CDs before opening their big LA store, even paying one ex-DJ 20 grand for his collection.
I'm eager to see the store.

It's one of the few places in Los Angeles where you can truly see a true cross-class and cross-race selection of people, really representative of the what the 'numbers' say live in the entire city.
It's worth going to for just the people watching.
