I would have to agree that Lake Cumberland is a wonderful place. I live in Jamestown for two years across the street from the lake and about a mile from the marina. It is a beautiful place and a must see. The best time to see the Wolfcreek dam, however, is when the floodgates are open. There are, I believe, eight floodgates and I was lucky enough to see them while I lived there.
