I'm an Aussie who's been following Charlton since about '98 when i started taking an interest in 'Soccer' ("football" = Australian Rules)
and thats the best "history of" that i've read, it's much more informative than the history section of the official site
Why i chose Charlton
In 1998 when i started following the Premier League i decided to choose a team from div 1 to follow (I didn't want to jump on to an Arsenal, or Man U bandwagon) and as I barrack for Carlton in Football (Australian Rules) i was simply caught by the name and after checking there past on field success (I like the underdog aspect) I'd found My team.
