Nice compilation. I agree wholeheartedly with the premise, but I think you're missing a song that fits your theme beautifully: See Emily Play

Of course, everyone and his uncle is gonna want to tweak your song selection, so feel free to tell us to all go twist in the wind!

VERY good.I LIKE THE MUSIC OF PINK FLOYD HOWEVER the roger waters solo album music from the body has 3 tracks that i think are great and summery

sea shell and stone (with wave sound effects)

the chain of life(easily one of the best songs i,ve ever heard)

and breath

i think you should include these

Thanks for the positive comments there! Yeah, See Emily Play could certainly fit, but I think I was trying to pick mainly songs from that kind of lost period between Syd leaving and Dark Side Of The Moon (with Wish You Were Here added as a kind of throwback to the old sound). Maybe the record company could debate this point before they release it officially smiley - winkeye

I've only heard the Waters/Geesin album a couple of times, many years ago, but I'll pick up a copy and try out the tracks you mentioned definitely.

Minnacks, do give this stuff a listen if you get a chance - it really is a different band.

Salut...

I know this is an old conversation but I recently saw The Australian Pink Floyd at the Albert Hall and they were great!
In general I don,t like tribute bands but I have to admit this lot were very good.
