Can anyone remember the phone that Jimmy Nail used in 'Spender'? It might just be my poor memory, but I remember a scene from the TV series (late 80's I think) where Jimmy Nail used a very small mobile phone. It seems that all the latest reductions in phone size are just getting us to the size of Spender's mobile 15 years ago. Was it real, or just my hazy memory or was it 'artistic licence' by the Props Department?

Motorola did release some really tiny phones at the late 80's early 90's these just porved too small as customers kept losing them or stitting on them. Or tha battery didn;y last very long. A freind of mine had a very thin Motorola phone a lot thinner than any of the phones currently available. But I'm working on a full history of hte Mobile phone soon. Once I get past my 100h entry soonish.
