Speaking of Hot drinks, has made me remember one I have tried in Spain.
Only warm when you drink it.
It consists of the spanish burning water(orujo), mixed with lemon and sugar, this is all set fire to and splashed around acompanied by a chant to scare off evil spirits. Once it has been burning away and the chant is over, you proceed to drink it (still quite warm).
Good taste, not too much alcohol left after the burning.
