A Conversation for Great Hot Drinks

The Glögg description sounds a bit odd to me - I've been told not to leave the spices soaking in the spirits for more than 24 hours, because after that the spices turn the liquid bitter.
Also, a vital detail that is missing is that you mix the spicy spirits with red wine and sugar - see the edited entry <./>A659388</.> for a detailed recipe.
Finally, the mix is served steaming hot, something that isn't mentioned either...
...I even made a posting belonging to this entry about Glögg, see:

Anyone know where to order the Glogg concentrate online? I used to be able to buy it at the local Swedish shop, but they say it isn't exported anymore. I don't mean the big litre or half litre bottle you add to wine, I mean the little concentrate bottle you have to add water to. I want it for two reasons, first of all the drink it makes tastes better (or stronger if you want). Secondly it makes the best cinnamon butter ever when you mix it with ground cinnamon, a little brown sugar and butter or margarine. On toast a breakfast of kings! (Or queens!)

Eh... not familiar with that, but I know that this site has a lot of Scandinavian products, maybe they have what you're looking for?

Nope, not there- but according to this:

-it is called *Aromatic Tincture* and can be found in *your nearest Swedish Drugstore*. At least I assume that is what I once used.
