Well folks its a big step but there is a way to do it right. The real trick is forgo all the rules and discussions and "personal spaces." What you need to do is realize that they are a person too and you are trying to make life easier not harder. In some ways it is like karma. If they are moving into your place, start by doing the things you would want them to do:clean up your messes, don't be obnoxious, don't play loud music late you know, the usual. If you set the standard early the other person will subconsciously adapt to your living. The same applies for when you move in with them, take care of yourself and gain their appreciation for how easy it is to live with you. Paul McCartney said it best, "The love you make is equal to the love you take."
