If you will be staying in separate rooms, make sure each member of the household is comfortable with their allocation before settling in. Just because 3 out of the 4 are happy, don't assume that the 4th will be happy with everything. If not everyone agrees, then try to reach an acceptable compromise.
In our house at uni, we're all fine with the arrangements- the girls wanted me on the ground floor for safety because I'm the only guy in the house (which means they'll all be woken up by the sound of bats hitting my skull if we have a break in, giving them time to escape), which is fine by me as it's one of the biggest rooms in the house.
