A Conversation for Tips on Moving in with Someone

I found that when I first moved in with the wife, we would have the most terrific fights. The first thing we realised was that we should never go to sleep on an argument (it get's really sore when she is elbowing your ribs all night )
Another thing we found was having shifts which give each other a bit of time alone. There is a lot to be said for this. Especially when she gets the day and I get the night.
For going to uni for the first time I would suggest getting into a Student house rather than halls of residence. The Student house has a much smaller group, and you will find that youmake much better friends there than you would in the more battery farm atmosphere of halls. Also it helps when your roommate has to go home every weekend so you get the room to yourself
