ooooooooh, I've bin looking for someone to try these out for AGES!!! I'm still at school, so it's hard to get apathetic with my parents on at me the whole time, but someone please try these out and tell if they work, for when I grow up.
1. Pin a bright red/fluorescent/dripping blood notice to your bedroom ceiling saying get up now
2. Set your alarm clock. Hell, BUY an alarm clock.
3. Multiple alarm clocks ALWAYS work. Turn them up to the loudest volume and have them go off within a few minutes of each other.
4. If you are ingenious enough, rig up a thingy to tip water over you and give yourself just enough time to wake up, remember who you are, remember about the water, and roll out of bed. Otherwise, instant cold shower! Nothing like a little panic to get you going in the morning. This could lead to some prolonged sheet-changing, but, hey, you wont want to get back into bed, and by the time you drag a new matrass in you'l be fully awake!

Exciting prospects.
Apathy to me is about not caring and in another of these threads someone mentions love. Good motivator. Maybe you don't care about anything because nobody cared/cares about you.
Find someone/something to care about and motivation can follow.
