Good to see this entry living up to the standards of accuracy of the rest of the series...

The handgun in Babylon 5 are NOT called PKG, they are called PPGs.

Has the author ever even seen an episode of Babylon 5? I mean, PKG doesn't even SOUND like PPG.

Also, it's very clearly established that "PPG" stands for "Phased Plasma Gun", and that these weapons are standard issue on spacecraft and stations where projectile weapons pose a risk of hull breach.

Far from being the unexplained bit of background filler nonsense technobabble that is implied, this is actually a carefully thought through and credible piece of technology. smiley - grr
