would it be possible to include links to the sites that the pictures came from?
I intend, funds permitting to build a garden railway in the near future and would welcome any inspiration from the net.
Also it would be nice to see some plans of railways, not just pictures of the odd piece of track with a train on it.
If (when) I construct my railway I will post some pics.

I suggest that you go to your local newsagent and purchase a copy of garden railroad magezine. In it is an ad for a video (about 11 pounds) entitled "building a garden railroad". It deals with most issues including extensive track planning and diagramming. You also need to know the elevations in your selected site, they show you how to build a water level to measure elevation. ....and more of course. All in all it was an eye-opening revelation for the new garden railroader

I think you would benefit and enjoy it, as I did.

with world wide membership, that I recommend.
