Damn Straight. Brook is a half-witted t**t, who just sits there while Johnny keeps the show interesting. She should be banished.

Kelly Brook, what a combination: completely dizzy and NICE clothes! Flowery dresses, low cut tops. DOESN'T WORK WITH BIG TITS AND CRAP LEGS KEL - SORT IT OUT!!

What about Adrian John? He used to do the 6-7am bit years ago. He had a nice fifties jingle thing about getting out of bed with a furry tongue and suchlike. With the advent of digital radio there should be two versions of the major stations, diurnal and nocturnal. R1 should alter their compression system too - keep it softened during the morning but make it a bit more lively during the afternoon and evening. I would really like it too if there was something somewhere that didn't have two hours of dancey crap after midnight. After John Peel you have to flick between R3 and R4 to avoid R1's most wanted, which should surely be renamed as that most wanted by the anti-instrument lobby.

The problem with the Big Breakfast is that Johnny Vaughan is soo good at what he does that he eclipses any other presenter on the show. So guess the thinking goes something along the lines of "Why pay lots of money for a good presenter, when Johnny will just take over. We'll hire Kelly Brooks for much less money and use the money elsewhere"
The only presenter of BB that I have seen is anywhere near as good as Johnny was Lisa Tarbuck (strange but true, especially considering how little talent her father possesses!)
Just my tuppence worth for today

I dont know, I tell you what, If you think that Mark and Lard should be banished to the graveyard shift then maybe Kelly Brook should join them then we would all be at peace to watch Big Breakfast without Kelly kissing Johhy's ass and being dumb!

The worst came this morning on BB. Anthony Daniels (aka C-3PO from Star Wars) was on the show. Ms Brook just sat there and babbled, repeating random little one-liners.
Planet 24 could save themselves a lot of money if they ditched her and just bought a parrot or something.
Just my thought for the day, tired though it is.

At least she'd been briefed on who he was. I bet she doesn't remember that Brian Blessed was in Blackadder and Flash Gordon, never mind the fact that he climbed Everest. (Almost).
The thing that irritates me most is the London-o-centric view of the producers. With Bob Geldof being a partner in Planet 24 you'd have thought that a regional accent would seem attractive. As it is, the non-vaughan element of the show spews out glottal stops and f-sounds instead of th. Mayhap the producers are looking for more American guests that only feel at home when a woman 'interviewing' them has freakishly large breasts. Mybe Ed Forsdick is a lechy, oilsome man who has only rates women on their looks. Lise Tarbuck might irritate but at least she uses her brain when she speaks. Melanie Sykes doesn't come from London. At least we don't have to suffer Gaby Roslin anymore. Anyone that admires the ginger oaf must be bad.

Is this the thread that RhymeMe was complaining about? Apparently there was a thing somewhere slagging Brook that got taken off the 5 busiest thing. Was there another one?

My problem with morning people isn't how chirpy they are at oh-god-hundred-hours in the A of M, it's how sleepy they become just as things get rolling (after dark...). Towards the evening, I feel like I could run a marathon or juggle nitroglycerine-filled balloons, while they can't even stand up straight any more. It's pathetic. They miss the best part of the day! These wimps aren't worth the trouble, most of the time, but every now and then one of 'em IS, and you have to find a way of dealing with them.
I've yet to manage that last bit.
