At last, we all seem to be creeping (if it's a bad day) or hopping (on a good one; but watch that step) out of our respective closets, or whichever box "they" feel like putting us into!
Welcome aboard, a great article, and so glad you've found us over at De Myelin Naton A889194 (where anyone else reading this is very welcome to visit; but be warned, it is in a bit of a mess at the moment, for some reson , we all seem to have so much else to do that we don't appear to be fulfilling the stereotype of "poor soul" very well!)
Spread the word; there are a lot of "us" about!
Terri.

Jolly good!
Let's hope it stays that way for as long as poss!
Tell me more about the camels bit, I was in places where I knew a lot of camels, bad press if you ask me. I like any animal who can take such pride in absolute grumpiness!

There was one on stage at the local Irish pub the other night.
Did you happen to see it by any chance?

Erm....
Was it called George?
Definitely gets the hump & prone to spitting. Not sure about the useful bits though, as far as I know, unable to close nostrils at will.

I am very nervous right now, I am getting ready to take a driving test to see if I need assistance devices in my truck. (the hand controls for gas and brake), I can walk with a cane , but this is progressing .
I am a realist, and am not looking for any sympathy.I will be darned if I cannot go out, for a drive the days my legs fail me. I already feel like a prisoner with the treatments I take (immune system suppresants). Still I am sweating over nerves, and the test is still hours away.
Time for some good ol M&M (Meditation & Medication).

Hi pedboy
I bet the driving test will be fine.I would advise, if you get any choice in the matter, to go for the maximum you can get, assume worst case scenario. You probably won't need it, bt its a pain having to be re-assessed if another bit starts playing up.
The pet beaver sounds ! I had a ferret, very nice little beast! Another with bad press, have to say he was smelly & if he was in a bad mood, ooh dear!! No serious bites though & he was superb with kids.

Thx Terri & Yoda, I passed the driving test for now, but I am required to be tested yearly now. I am not having any problems with that as my sickness is in the progressive stages.
I am having a problem with the aged(really old farts) population who do not have the capibilities to drive, but are not required to be tested, ever!!!
Yes, I am speaking of the old fart sunday drivers, that cause many accidents on the road, as they see the "right" to drive is their decision.
Yes, I have already mentioned this to my for further action.

The weather has taken on a summer type of attitude around here, and it seems as if I get to spend yet another housebound.(Due to the sun/heat/fatigue paradigm). This could be alot worse, but I do live in "Canada's Ocean Playground", and I cannot go out and play .
