Celtic knots seem to be very popular as tattoos now, either as a pattern in itself, or a continuous band around an arm or a leg.

Celtic tattoos became fashionable a few years ago now, which is a shame as I had always wanted a celtic band around my left arm. Still, I may get one done anyway seeing as tribal artwork is the 'new' fashion for tattoos.
