On Trying To Fly

It didn't quite work. I brused myself rather horribly, and promised to never give flying another thought. That held for about 25 minuites and I brused myself rather horrribly again. This time though, I damaged my skull and immediatly forgot what the consequences of throwing yourself at the ground and missing felt like, and without hesitation began my quest for weightlessness again but this time from a much higher step on a much longer set of stairs.
My dear mother didn't know what to make of the situation and promptly called the police.

I have just been released from the Insanity Ward of a major metropolitan area hospital, (which will remain nameless) on grounds that I wasn't actually insane, but just pretending as though to attract attention to myself.

I am not insane. Perhaps ecentric or latargic. Depending on the night of day.

Perhaps some information about my self is in order.
I am an avid reader. Especialy poetry-Allen Ginsberg, Walt Whittman, Vachel Lindsay, Carl Sandburg, Dylan Thomas
My favorite author is Jack Kerouac

Music- I listen mainly to Blues and Bob Dylan & Cat Stevens

I write a lot of my own poetry and have begun posting some in my Journal section please give it a read and tell me what you think.
