There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted May 5, 2014
I've just spent about ten minutes searching the recipe folder on my PC, My Documents, backup My Documents, for a recipe I *know* I have - because I know I have it and because I used it a few weeks ago.
Then I remembered it's in an actual made-of-trees, pick-it-up-and-open-it cookbook that I've owned for years. You know, one of those things where all the recipes used to be when we was kids Is this a sign of how central and important to my life the computer has become, that I automatically assume everything's there, either on it or accessible through it on the interwebs?
These days I rarely walk the 15 feet over to the bookcase to get a CD. Why bother when I can usually find it on YouTube?

"Blurrier"?

As someone who failed English Language O Level (Twice), I find it really grating when even I can spot the obvious.

"I'm not drunk, you're just blurry."
Forgive me, but a favorite movie quote just popped into my head.

I'm not sure it's up your alley, Gosho. It's from Pitch Perfect, a movie about college students competing in a capella groups. It's chock full of great one liners.

Oh, by the way... I saw this and thought it might be appreciated here.

Considering the construction delays and the obvious corruption that's causing them, it's quite appropriate.

Questions. I have so many questions. Mostly to do with of 'what's holding it up?' Double-sided Velcro tape on the old chap and the scrotum? Araldite? Art?
What's it tucked into at the back.
Does it have to be applied (and/or removed) under a local anaesthetic?
But mostly just why? WHY??? And how can I un-see it?

And what do we call it. This is an order magnitude greater than the old "plum smugglers" and "banana hammocks".
I think I'll call it the ol' Juevos Bolero as it does seem to imply somethings about to be flung.

Oh, and to what's holding in the back? I'm not sure, but I suspect a popping sound when it's removed.

that's a mental picture that has scarred me for life (but now I seriously want to know what the rear view looks like)

I'm also curious about the rear view, but I don't think I want to see it When we showed Borat at the Drafthouse and a couple of the servers volunteered to dress up in green mankinis, they wore a body stocking underneath, just because it would probably have put customers off their food
When something like this hoves into view my train of thought usually goes along these lines:
There's a chain of people that goes from the person who first came up with the idea, to the person who thought it'd be a good product to manufacture, from the person who thought it'd be a good product to sell, to the person who thought they'd look good in it and bought it.
In each case, my reaction is 'What the were you thinking?' There are people who dreamed up the idea, people who pitched the idea, people who signed off on it as a good prospect and people who... well, I was going to say who had the balls to actually wear it in public, but in this case having balls would be a definite disadvantage.
Any road up. Every single one of those people is very, very silly and should be slapped very hard with the slapping hand.

I actually suspect this wraps completely around his upper thigh, over his hip and buttock and under his tweenis. (Yes, the word 'tweenis' is now in your vocabulary. If you're unsure what it means, it is related to 'taint'.)
Basically, I think it's like an Alice band (a new term I learned from Gosho's threads) with a pocket.

I want to go and look to see if your suggestion might be right... but I don't think I can
Oh, so that http://www.thebaglady.tv/alicebands.jpg is what Alice bands are. I'm guessing they must have had a name other than headbands or hairbands when I was a kid, but if they did I can't remember it now. Don't they have small teeth on the inside, like comb teeth but very short?
