The h2g2 Poem

A Bathroom Dilemma

Oh toilet roll, toilet roll,

Wherefore art thou, toilet roll?

The situation's desperate,

My countenance quite grim,

I didn't know until too late,

Oh what a mess I'm in.

Lean I may, lean I might

Reach the cupboard I can't quite.

The prospect's looking tough,

I thought there was enough,

And it seems that I was wrong.

Oh toilet roll, toilet roll,

Now see how I run;

Trousers down around my feet

I regret what I have done.

My one relief is it's not tricky

To run for paper when things are sticky!
