Greetings to you all, Editors, Sub-Eds, Fellow Field Researchers and Visitors to H2G2. I am nearly 38½, female, no longer semi-sorta-quasi-married and once again resident in the UK. I confess I was actually born in New Jersey, USA but was blessed with parents who decided to bring me up in God's own country (if you're William Blake), Magna Britannia ipsa. Although I demonstrated my cultural heritage of eccentricity by returning to the land of my birth in July 1999, I finally returned to what was left of my senses in December 2000 and swapped sunny California for the grey skies of Birmingham...
Update: I departed Brum in 2006 and am now in East Anglia, near Cambridge.

Other loves are Sir PTerry & works, Professor John Ronald Reuel Tolkien ditto, Clive Staples "Jack" Lewis, DragonMasterHarper Anne McAffrey ditto, Professor Isaac Asimov ditto (shalom), Sir Pelham Grenville "Plum" Wodehouse ditto, Sir Noel Coward ditto, the Monty Python team ditto (RIP Graham & happy 42nd anniversary), Red Dwarf Posse ditto, Richard O'Brien & the RHS/RHPS, Chris Claremont, John Byrne, Neil Gaiman, Dave McKean, Ben Edlund, my comic cronies Nigel and Sean from the sorely-missed Fantastic Store in Birmingham, Dave of Windsor House (thanks for introducing me to the Tick!) and most other speculative fiction & humour creators.

Keep watching the skies, the Sub-Etha and this space - the beloved (I mean it! Well, *I* like him anyway!) Editor Mr Moxon has kindly commented on my first and only Guide Entry. It remains a work in progress... for now! I will not cease, the endless tweak - Nor shall my mouse sleep in my hand - until my entry be approved - in H2G2's pleasant realm (apologies to the immortal William B)!
