Welcome to Fafnir and his userpage
...did I happen to recieve a field-researcher's id containing the two digits 4 and 2 in this precise order at the very end of my number. I can not yet see if this has anything to say about my state of mind but right now I think that life is a wonderful balloon full of confetti that may burst into something even more chaotic than me at any time. O god, this last bit is so bad I just have to leave it standing here. If you have any complaints please say so. What more can I say about myself? I became a fied researcher for the guide because I love writing (although producing English texts is not even simple for someone whose native language is something very similar to german (it is in fact german, but since I have been living in Hassia for some time my pronunciation of some words may appear a little funny to other people. I try to avoid this, but I am not always succesful)). I also love the "Hitchhiker", especially parts one, three and four (ask my friends, meanwhile they think I am going mad speaking of nothing else but mattresses, small furry creatures, chinese tea pots, whales, physics and the sun shining all day). And - as you see - I like brackets. I love footnotes even more but I have not found a way of placing them on these pages, so I put up with placing as many annotations in brackets as possible. Well, since I wrote those last two paragraphs some unknown genius invented Guide ML and so I could now place footnotes here but this would just mean that you could then actually understand the above text without reading it at least twice and therefore I won't change anything. I would however be most glad if someone could tell me wether text in footnotes has to be a complete sentence1 or not2 in English. In case you want to know more about me, you might have a look at Fafnir's Homepage which features me as well as my daughter. By the way: in real life most people call me Richard. Don't know if that is of any importance but it seemed to be worth mentioning. Anyway, have a lot of fun searching and reading the guide. There's now such an awful lot of great and sometimes even helpful stuff to be found here, it's just incredible. Hope to see you here again some time, RichardLatest Messages
