Shopping Mall and British Port

Not a bad city, as cities go. The last place you go on your way to nice places like France, the Channel Islands and the New Forest, and the place you go back to when you need to go shopping. Probably a quaint place before being bombed out of existence during WW2, it is now heading towards the terminal stages of shopping and becoming one big mall, especially now the monsterous West Quay has opened. Better than Portsmouth, but that's not saying much.

Things to do:

  • Take the ferry to Hythe and visit the New Forest.
  • Take a plane or the ferry to the Channel Islands.
  • Go shopping.
