The Ministry of Wisdom, Linux & Toothbrushes may be having the Sushi Bar refurbished during the festive season of 2000, but that doesn't mean the kitchens are shut. We're still doing external catering jobs, and are providing all sorts of fresh, totally non-authentic Sushi for both the Christmuse Dinner and the Cabinet Christmas Party. So without further ado, we'll proceed to the menu.

Fish

The following all have a traditional-style rice and seaweed base, so I shall just specify the toppings.

We couldn't go without inventing some utterly unauthentic Sushi for Christmas, could we?

Christmas Turkey Sushi

Rice and seaweed, flavoured with a tiny dash of Cranberry liquer, topped with a thin slice of roast turkey and some Cranberry sauce.

Chestnut Sushi

Blended roast chestnuts in the rice, with some sliced chestnuts on the top. If you like chestnuts...

Christmas Pudding Sushi

Yes, we know Sushi is a savoury thing. Not anymore! Experience rice steeped in brandy, with some sugar for flavouring (of course), and topped with a small slice of , sploshed with yet more brandy and then set alight (or you can have it non-ignited if you prefer).

In addition to items on this menu, we can normally provide almost any other foodstuff you care to mention. It might not be quite as fresh, though.
