Beyond the Map

Under construction
For the benefit of travellers in h2g2 and those mapmakers who come after me this is what I think happens beyond the waterworks map. Amy the Ant. 2000.
To the North
The Pond (that belongs to The Fish) extends some way N. It is one source of The River that runs N at first but then hits a ruddy great range of mountains and is forced back to the S gathering the waters from many tributary streams as it heads back towards The Town through wooded valleys. I suspect, but this is tenuous, that it flows near to the German Village at its northernmost point.
To the East
There is still a great deal of h2g2 to explore. Starting in the N, there are more mountains. It is upon these that the apes roam. Working our way S we reach the outer suburbs of The Town, the industrial areas and then the great expanse of the Municipal Park that pervades the entire town. Eventually we move further S and find the commercial and civic part of The Town surrounding the vast Town Square. The Town Hall is here, as are the H2G2 Towers.
Somewhere over on this side of town there is The University of Life. Many of the clubs and societies have headquarters on the Avenue of Societies which probably leads off the Town Square. The Church of the True Brownie is on the Avenue of Societies.
Moving E from the Town Square we find that the Municipal Park has followed us South to form the northern border of The Beach. The Beach is five miles long. The land is much higher at the Eastern End of The Beach; there are Cliffs and a Lift takes you down to The Beach itself and into The Caves. Hereabouts you will find Mt. SandEverest with its ski slopes etc.
Walking back W along the Beach, the height of the Cliffs diminishes. You can see the trees in the Moxonwood on the top of the cliffs that are occasionally broken by bubbly little streams making their way to The Sea. Blue Steed Equestrian Centre in a clearing of Moxonwood?
Tired from walking through all that sand, you are relieved to find that a boardwalk has been built that takes you past L'Hotel Chrome, Crater Labs Inc. and Lil's Atelier set in elegant gardens. The crater is nearby. There is a stream somewhere near here and a swimming hole. Eventually you see the slopes of Mt Sandcastle in front of you covered in the trees of the Majic Forest as you approach the welcoming doors of the Aroma Cafe or head S across The Beach to Joanna's Doughnut Stall.
To the South
There is The Sea. The chain of coral atolls, of which Muwem and The Coral Reef Cafe are the northernmost, extends S as far as anyone has ever been. Who knows what lies beyond?
To the West
There is another beach that starts just beyond the Boat Yard and eventually forms an exquisite bay with turquoise waters. There is a stunning coral reef at the mouth of St. Valentine's Bay where the waters are always warm and calm. The beach is fringed with palm trees but moving N past the quaint Fishing Village you will find the road to the typically British village with the less typically British name of Village de la Vavoom that nestles in the foothills of the northern mountains. From here you can catch the No.42 bus back to The Town via the Town Bridge.
