Here are a couple of happier poems, because I want to save my happy moods too.

A future love poem

To him who would be my love if I knew who he was, he knew who I was, and we crossed paths in the right circumstances...

Like rain from a cloudless sky,

And the moon in the afternoon

As the birds, singing high above us as they fly

And the flowers, dead but still in bloom.

Still I search in the days of sunny gold,

Then I seek in the leaves and the grass.

I am forced to wait, as the trees grow old

Until I die, as you're still hidden from me at last.

But I smile as I find a lovely day,

And I laugh as the world spins round and round

Because I have hope, and a will and a way

And I know you are real, safe and sound.

Butterfly

Just a random set of thoughts, really...

My soul on a lattice

Stretched out and digitized

But still really me

My heart in a doorway

Hesitating on entrance

And not really sure

My mind in a jungle

Forging a pathway

Still leading me on

My soul as a butterfly

Fluttering and spinning

And soaring up high...

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
