After much soul-searching, meditation, etc. I have rediscovered my faith in God. It is still very shaky but, it is there.

Just don't necessarily expect that finding God will solve your problems or lead to some form of tranquility. It may, on the contrary lead to issues you've never imagined... The pursuit of truth is indeed painful.
