And this time, I am not alluding to Francis, my rubber duck! I have had a visitor at last - and I didn't even get the place tidied up first, though it is furnished to rather minimalist standards at present. I will have to call in the decorators, and get it feeling more like home. Anyone got some neat decorating tips?

It would be an infinitely more interesting world if people on this planet really used the names in daily life that they have carved out for themselves here. There would be a lot less misunderstanding I feel, for a start.

Yeah!! Well I *am* called Lisa and frequently try to make people call me a Freak.. so I guess..
BUT previously, I used to actually be called Et Cetera Gallumbits by my friends and others.. but that was because I WAS Et Cetera Gallumbits.. look you dion't want to know..

just thought i would pop over to this room for a moment and see what was going on 
i noticed you mentioned something about names and such and just thought i would say that believe it or not "monsy" is the name i use in real life as well (blame that on vegiman and my husband )
anyway, as for decorating.....how about a small party? that should do quite good at decorating for you, of course i cannot promise that the look will be quite what you were after. all i can promise is it will be quite unique
