I put on the new soft shoes I was given as part of my get-well present and tied the shoe laces BY MYSELF. This is the first time for over two years - I've been using elasticated laces and velcroed slip ons.

so has the new hip made a noticeable difference? or is it too early to tell?

Three weeks tomorrow.
Main noticeable difference is the almost complete lack of pain. I can't run yet but I am no longer crawling up the stairs on my hands and knees.
