I know that to those of you whose home pages are psychedelic explosions of dazzling multi-coloured multi-media mayhem, my achievement tonight probably looks pitifully modest. But I am not of the generation that learns HTML just after it learns its ABC, and I'm EXCITED!!!

Actually, I am deliberately taking this one step at a time (I don't want to rush things at my age) and I have decided that the next thing I really would like to learn is how you do different coloured text. I was going to ask Bruce tomorrow - but you obviously know how it's done, so maybe you could help...

Sure The trouble is I am still stuck in the old school at the
moment and using html.....I see that you are using guide! The code that I use is :.......but I think that you might need the actual color number for the guide version!....I will ask about and see what I can find out for you ok.....oh.....and you can change the font and size by Hello!......etc! Try clicking on *view* at the top of explorer and looking at *source* that may give you some idea

Thanks! I'll look into it tomorrow. I'm busy at the moment because Fenchurch and I are applying urgent veterinary attention to my new fish, who has arrived on my page but seems reluctant to move.
Personally, I think he's probably just sleepy after swimming all the way across the Atlantic, poor little chap. .
