Little Mischief

After nosing around in the "What Book Are You Reading At This Time?" thread I have been inspired to find out how many books I read in a year. The easiest way I can think of to keep track is to keep a list somewhere (like here!)

So, I'll start with the month of April 2002 and keep track until the end of March 2003.

The first week of April I finished Terry Pratchett's "The Fifth Elephant", but as I actually started that book in March I probably won't include that in the total. Since April first I have read "Burnt Offerings" by Laurell Hamilton, and I've started on Terry Pratchett's "Eric".

Finished 'Road to Mars'... thoroughly disappointed. And I stayed up late to finish it too smiley - sadface

I'm going to concentrate on 'Fellowship of the Ring' now so maybe I can finish it before the next movie comes out...

Post 6

Little Mischief

Finished it last night! I was amazed at how true to the original story the film remained smiley - wow

Since I finished it while at work and didn't have 'The Two Towers' with me, I started Terry Pratchett's 'Jingo', and when I got home last night started 'Two Towers'. Seems like I should have it finished before the film comes out smiley - biggrin

Still on both of them, nearly finished Two Towers though. I'm hoping to have it finished in the next week or so, so I can take the Dark Materials book with me on the plane when I go to Seattle on the 13th.

Also read A Series of Unfortunate Events Book the First - The Bad Beginning. smiley - erm

Well, I finished the Rabbi book, but I've misplaced the Dr Fegg. At the end of March my total was 24.

In the last few days I've started:
The Bourne Identity - Robert Ludlum
Primary Colors - Anonymous
Bunnicula - Deborah & James Howe

...and if I can find it again, still on Dr Fegg's.

Still stuck in the Bourne though.

About time to revive this as it's the end of another year, and I've got a list about a mile long of books I want to read. Should probably start another thread for that tho smiley - winkeye
