I have always had dogs.. but when Blondie died, I couldn't take another one. I loved her so much.
So we currently have 2 cats..
My youngest daugher Vicki Virago, she has hamsters (I get to keep them when she's away).
My eldest daughter Virtuouschuffed has lots of animals, 2 dogs, about 4 or 5 cats.. a rabbit, and loads of different birds in her garden flight.
So we have been used to keeping lots of pets..

My friend has 2 dogs, 4 cats, 3 guinea pigs,10 fish in her garden and 1 hamsterwell her hamster died last week.
We have no pets at all and we are not aloud to have one. Mum and Dad say the house is to small and we can't afford to keep feeding one and bye it toys and things.I would like a cat I would love a dog, but we could sort of keep a cat because they like to be out side a lot of the time so we could but also we couldn't because we can't afford to keep and look after it.
But I am deffinatly getting a dog when I am older. It is going to be a Shitzo they are my faviorate as they are fussy, smll and cute.

Your Dad is right.. You wouldn't be able to go away as often as you do, because you would have to put your pets into kennels or a cattery.. That costs a lot of money
When you are older, you will have more time to make your own decisions about pets..

Blondie was a labrador. My brother bought her for me when she was only 12 weeks old. She was 15 years old when she died, it was very sad.
