Now what?
As things turned out, my brain was not Year2000Compliant.
It has deserted me in search of another darwinist to yell at.
Now what?

If you have not been there yet , I highly suggest www.darwinawards.com the most hilarious compilation of idiotic acts I have ever read.*(besides the Clinton Admin.)

Thanks, but I allready know the DarwinAwards site. I read a lot of them, but I still hold it against them that they seemed to find amusement in the tragic death of a bunch of kids - they did as many kids do, they dug a cave and it collapsed on top of them, killing them. Honestly, that was not funny.
But the story about the South-American man who threw out his wife from a tall building and then, when seing that she survived, threw himself after and killed himself, now THAT's fun. In it's own sick way, naturally.
The top story remains the one about the guy who went flying in a garden chair carried by balloons and found himself unable to come down. When he finally did and was rescued, followed by arrest for disturbing the airspace, he boldly sid to a reporter: 'Hey, a man can't just sit there!'
BTW - My brain is starting to make short revisits to me again. I guess it found out that the coffee supply in 1899 was too scarce for it's survival.
Lucky me.
I guess.
I hope...

Most non Y2K compliant computers reset themselves to 1980 not 1800 (as it is the year they were made) where is your brain now?

My computer at work thought that it was perfectly fitting to remain on the last day of 1999.For some reason, it had to be told what day it was in the new millenium before getting in sync.

That's nothing.
I have a friend who still has to be told that the millennium-crisis has been and gone and that we have in fact passed halfway through January!
As for my brain, it insists on calling me names, but at least this means that we are communicating again.
Key: Complain about this post
