Hope you got your ? For once the telly had an offer. Mustn't reckon this weather deserves the Summer Schedules. Believe it or not, I fell asleep in the middle, only briefly, but, of course, at an important juncture. Shall try to keep the lamps open during the second part!
This weather is making me Today I planned to put in at least some of the plants I'd foolishly bought at the weekend. They're still lounging about like teenagers during revision time.
HWMBO has a check-up tomorrow, so no progress then. Rings hands and sighs dramatically.
Has anyone seen Titania lately? Hope she's not ill.

It is frustrating not to be able to get in the garden, though I have to say the rain meant I could do other things today. I am waiting to mow the lawn but it is far too soggy.

Fancy falling asleep, that's the sort of thing my other half does. I am afraid I watch hardly any TV these days. The computer is more interesting and needs my brain and fingers, so it is a better option.

It has been cold all day. The morning was sunny but it couldn't keep it up and rained all afternoon and still is now and again.

Haven't seen Titania, but then I don't very often

If a certain venerable Lady Dig would have bothered to keep up with the Atelier backlog she would have noticed that a young whippersnapper as myself posts almost daily (except during weekends and holidays)

I do so agree about the TV v the 'pooter. But my tame technophobe begins to twitch when he notices my absence. Now, if I could get the wireless thingy going....but then he'd tell me I can't watch and poot at the same time. What happened to multi-tasking??? Solutions, please, on a postcard.

Yes, thanks. All went well. I was concerned when they said his next appt would be in four months instead of six, but apparently, NICE has spoken. His diabolic control is excellent, and his Other Trouble is still only 6 (how do I do 1 over 2, as in 'half'??% The character map hasn't got one. I'm sure I used to know. Thinks, but )

Haven't you learnt that you must make allowances for the Old Folks? To be fair (to myself) I /have/ popped in to see Lil a couple of times; in fact I've just joined in the rejoicing with Monty and Sol, so there. The mention of dog-training seduced me, and I stayed longer than I should and one thing led to another. Know the feeling?

However, It's nice to see you in this select corner, and to know that you're still the same cheeky whippersnapper. With the same incredible mastery of /My/ mother tongue which continues to draw gasps of amazement. You know, it would be so easy to.....but, being of a generous disposition...

Have your elders, but not necessarily betters, on the BOF committee given any indication as to whether my failure to find them for a day or two is due to Internal Problems - about which we don't wish to hear - or to my browser? In your own time, of course. I've no wish to cause an Incident!!
