One of the 'problems' of living near the coast, is that as soon as Summer arrives we get very popular! Have just waved goodbye to my sister-in-law, niece and nephew, after having them to stay for a week, and although it was lovely to see them, it is sooo lovely to have our home to ourselves again!

I live in east yorkshire and I always liked the name the people who live in seaside villages have for west yorkshire people.
They call them "comforts"
because they come for t' weekend
