Happy Birthday!
Yes, I'm late - but that's the story of my life.
And this one is for you to spill on the person of your choice

*giggles*
I wonder what else we could talk about - there must be something, but somehow I keep thinking about you spilling wine...
(Not that I have a problem with this!)

well i'm open to suggestions. We could talk about what we are going to talk about....

I might have to think about that for a while, so maybe we could talk about thinking about talking about something other than you spilling wine onto some nice person...
(Seriously, I'll be off to bed soon... I'll be back tomorrow, hoping I've found something to talk about...)

Yes, I'm in Australia - Canberra to be precise - and at this time of year I'm 8 hours ahead of you.
It is quite a pleasant country, pretty in some places and eerily empty and strange in others... And at the moment it's horribly cold here. Not by European standards maybe, but it was -7C last night, which is a bit hard to deal with seeing we can get up to 45C in our summer...
My main problem with Australia is that it's so far from Everywhere Else.

its summer here, but thank god that it is never going to be 45C I think that would kill me or something...

Well, I don't know how people cope with -10C or anything lower than that. I've only been that cold once, many years ago, and I'm happy not to experience it again.

Don't worry, I'll wait... *sits in waiting position *
That's one of the good things about h2g2 - whether it's next week or next year, this conversation will still be here, and we can pick it up again at any time.
